Where is it from?

The Boule adaptable utility bag was designed and prototyped by Luc Courchesne as a school project at the Nova Scotia College of Art and Design in 1974. It was patented in 1976 and manufactured first by Boule et Frères and then by Sacs Boule inc. over a period of 20 years until 1998. The french mountain equipment company Millet manufactured and distributed the Boule bag under licence in 1980-81. It was also manufactured and distributed under the name of Luc's bag in the US between 1982 and 1986. About 20 000 units have been sold to date.
